Aaaaand that’s a wrap of #walescomiccon, SMASHED IT (...several times with a baseball bat, but details aren’t important)! I honestly had a blast hanging out with the lovely @gothams_candy (who also took this amazing photo!) and @xdizziedeex, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you both! @gothams_candy and I had only spoken for about a week online prior to meeting up @walescomiccon and bless her heart, she was willing to put up with me for 2 whole days! She is honestly such a sweetheart and an overall good egg! ☺️💗
Honestly, these are my fave photos from the whole con and yes, they are now my phone lock/home screen! ☺️ Together we even defended (well, tried to) our darling Puddin' (@mistah_j_heh_heh on Instagram) from a bunch of WWE wrestler cosplayers! And despite our brave and daring efforts, this is all he had to say about it while filming the whole thing:
So, this was when the nasty wrestling cosplayers decided to pick on poor Mistah J at Wales Comic Con. I always make fun of guys dressed in spandex, dontcha know! So I had to send in my brave Harley's... fat lotta good they were! 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡
Due to health’n’safety regulations, I couldn’t bring my bat with me this time around (which I fully understand) so be prepared for the spam of me at Wales Comic Con with my gun (which deffo needs a repaint!) ☺️
I can't believe I was able to get a photo with the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) car from the TV show @gothamonfox!!! 😱 I love this photo sooo much (thanks @gothams_candy!), like the men arresting me just have this joint expression of “look who we found? 😄” and I’m just pouting, beyond annoyed.
In other news, I also made it into the local newspaper?!?
Massive thanks to Steve Cresswell of The Leader Live for writing an article about #walescomiccon2018 for its 10th anniversary and asking myself, @gothams_candy, @xdizziedeex and @shackneal for this AMAZING picture (and OH MY GAWD THE QUALITY OF THIS PHOTO IS AMAZING!!)! I did try to recreate @margotrobbie's pose from the first official pictures that came out before the movie was released but I didn’t have my bat 😞😅 oh well I tried! I was asked by so many sweet people for pictures, it's so lovely to think that so many people think my cosplay is good enough to be photographed. I honestly loved meeting you guys ...Even if it meant having 3 cameras going off at once and not knowing which one to look at! 😂 Like this first photo of 3 different versions of Harley, 2 warm cosplayers and 1 idiot who decided to wear shorts despite it being winter! 😅 Jokes aside, it’s one of my fave things in the world when little kids think you’re the real thing!! Goodness, my heart melts!💗🥰
One of which was the amazing photo opportunity from @doctorbell! This is honestly one of my fave cosplay pics, at least so far! I also had a great mini-shoot with @donaldmanning! I am in awe and simply in love with these photos! 😱😍
I also received this AMAZING EDIT by @superfreakcosplays!! I honestly can’t thank you enough, it’s really sweet of you to make this!☺️
PS: this is the last of my #wcc pics, so I may be out of content for a little while, but hopefully I’ll get to go to some more cons and photo shoots soon! ☺️ But as a stressed-out sixth form student I can’t make any promises, so please bear with me xxx
Also, it’s amazing what 5 months can do!! It’s hard to believe I only started this blog in July. It’s even harder to believe so many of you wanted to join me on this journey! Thank you all so much! 💗☺️ Honestly it’s been a blast and I can’t wait to do it all again next year! I've made a start on a few other cosplays so there won’t be an overwhelming amount of #suicidesquad #harleyquinn 😂💗
